The Associated Press featured HealthBarn Foundation’s Healing Meals volunteers in action preparing for the annual Ridgewood Giving Thanks Elder Dinner as a grab n’ go frozen Thanksgiving Dinner instead of a sit down event.  The volunteers produced over 250 freshly cooked Thanksgiving Meals and Apple Crisp desserts frozen for delivery in partnership with Ridgewood Parks and Recreation, Age-Friendly Ridgewood, No Fuss Lunch and Old Paramus Reformed Church.  The AP story was distributed nationally in video and print format.
